Our mission is to be a multi-service agency, with a wide diversity of values, dedicated to the restoration and healing of individuals and the family. To Embrace Children and families, inspiring lives through collaborative efforts with the community, to promote the social, emotional, physical, and well-being of all our citizens. To expand our “Behavior Modification Facilities," to evaluate, encourage, support, and monitor families. Promoting independence through education and support services, to provide a continuum of quality human services within our resource capabilities.

We are always challenged to increase our efforts to provide for the many desperate, hungry, and homeless people who reach out to us for help. We could not run Feeding Centers, Safehavens, Educational & Training Workshop or any other ministries without the faithful help of caring individual donors.

"Believe In Our Children & Families"

  • Children thrive and grow when they are connected to a healthy and loving family and community.
  • Youth have healthier lives and better outcomes into their adult years when they have an awareness of and connection to their birth families, culture, and heritage.
  • The preferred family for children is the family of Unity and Origin whether the nuclear family or the extended family.
  • Institutionalization of children and youth, even children and youth with disabilities, is not desirable. When children are separated from their parents, they should be in a setting that is the least restrictive and least isolated from their family and community.
  • Children should be protected through Primary Prevention, Provision of Voluntary Treatment, Services, and Strengthening of Family and Community Resources.
  • When children are separated from their parents, every effort should be made to provide services that strengthen families so as to permit reunification as soon as possible.
  • If every effort is made to strengthen families and services are unwanted or unsuccessful, children who cannot be reunited with their parents should have a permanent home, as closely connected with their family and culture as possible.
  • Children and youth should receive services to develop life skills that reduce future homelessness and homeless children should be helped to reunite with their families, if possible, and offered community support and residential stability when reunification with family is not possible.
  • Disparities that America's Children and Families experience in child welfare systems are similar to inequities in education, employment, health care, treatment and housing.
  • Disparities that America's children and Families experience in child welfare systems often reflect unequal scrutiny on families of color and lack of cultural competence at the institutional, policy and individual level.

"Helping Those Who Can Not Help Themselves"

"Miracle Horizons" A transition that will change your life.
Our families will work individually with case managers who provide home-based family counseling, and link families with resources to address needs in employment, drug/alcohol rehabilitation, and counseling, rap-around services, childcare, educational training, job placement, and permanent housing. Adults will learn to cope with stressful situations; avoiding a problem, increase situations. The use of alcohol and drugs cause a situation to become a more severe, a severe problem. The organization teaches coping and managing skills; seeking help, guidance, and discussing your problem, will lead towards good results in future maintenance “Coping Skills”. A contemporary children's program is run by trained staff, volunteers to facilitate games, and interactive activities that assist children in expressing their feelings and learning effective communication skills, while providing tutoring and mentoring. At times, a child must undergo counseling to cope with their emotions, thoughts of feeling abandon, abused and neglected. A psychologist, they often suggest that children and families should attend family counseling to resolve family issues, to overcome fear and frustration. Our transitional goal is to gain family unity, discuss problems, and receive the appropriate support so that the family may live in peace.

Miracle Caregivers for Needy Children and Families,
Through our not-for-profit organization for children and families we focus on safety, wellness, and education. Reunification, it is one of our primary family goals, stabilizing families to live independently. Although there are many families in Georgia who experienced separation, we encourage family unity. Many children throughout Georgia are missing their childhood life, forced into adult life, attempting to live independently at an early age. Children are making wrong decisions which affect their lives forever. We are here to help the children make superior decisions for themselves, with expectations that the families will reunify as one.
Many children are scared, worried, lonely, and confused about their family dilemma and hardships. Do we want children to feel this way? No, we are here to be guardians to children who develop negative thoughts. Reinforcing optimistic dreams of becoming successful adults is one of our many goals in improving child life-long development.
Miracle Caregivers for Needy Children and Families has helped many children like Albin Blunt-Alcantara. Albin, he was separated from his biological family in 1998, placed into foster care with his three siblings who are also medically frail, the children did reunify with the birth family. The case plan for 12-year old Albin involved adoption, he must remain with his three siblings in a safe, stable, and loving home. In 2003, all of the children were officially adopted by the Founder/Chief Executive Officer; Ms. Clorissal Alcantara of Miracle Caregivers for Needy Children and Families. Today, we are proud to say that Albin and his siblings are speaking out as Miracle Children; they are youth advocates, entertainers, poet writers, actors, models, and they encourage other children, "Keep Dreams Alive" all things are possible if you believe in yourself.
